ОМСК Spring has blossomed again in Omsk, and some much-needed rain has freshened up the city. Little by little the faded, washed-out, and bleached look of a long winter is giving way to life again. I had covered the space paintings at the Liberov and, on my way back, took a look at the history museum and said to myself, 'Why not?' Inside, for 200 rubles, a ticket gave me entry to a room featuring the wonders of the Omsk region. Ancient cultures, famous artists, modern paintings, and folk culture.Ulyanov, the famous actor with his medals and sword he used in playing Richard III. I've seen many of his movies, and he is a favorite, truly an actor that could play an invalid overseer to a handsome dashing scoundrel such as Dmitry in The Brothers Karamazov. A favorite is his role as the general in 'Run.'And a few paintings of the famous Georgy Kichigin and others. Kichigin always makes you smile with his humor and ironic portrayal of life. And so in a short time, I feel refreshed. I've taken a few hours to enjoy a walk in the center. I've visited 2 museums and a coffee shop. I feel refreshed and ready to work again.
