Extreme divine power of the cross

Young African Orthodox priest remembers the story of his elder Orthodox missionary priest Gerasimos who confronted an influential local magician with satanic powers who was killing pastors, with only a small wooden cross, in a remote village in Africa. Magic could no longer break rocks, when the small cross was placed on them. The magician had threatened to kill them, but then converted to Christian Orthodoxy.
