Finegear Dirt Magnet: Sound Demo
As development and production journey of Dirt Magnet reaches its end and as units become available, it was past time for new demo of what this much delayed machine can do. Here, it is paired simply with drum-machine and synth, taking advantage of Dirt Magnet's independent I/Os: while Tape Delay is connected on one of mixer's sends, Noise and Crackles generators, as well as Ring Modulator and VCF modules are chained to form extra droney-ambient synth voice sent to channel on mixer. Dirt Magnet is second of 'Arkive Effects' series and it brings different collection of classic sounding effects. Each module was analysed, extended with expression and modulation features, and tweaked for creative misuse.
