Yamaha EX5: FM Synthesis Using Only Samples
Until Waldorf Quantum and Iridium came along, Yamaha EX5 was only hardware synthesizer that could frequency modulate samples with other samples. In this video, we use this to turn sample of own voice into somewhat synth-brassy sounding patch using sine wave sample as modulator.
